About the Project
We are looking for a Laravel Backend Developer to join our team and work on an existing platform specializing in golf cart rentals. This role’s primary focus will be refactoring and extending the existing codebase.
Key Responsibilities
- Refactor and optimize the existing Laravel codebase
- Develop and maintain new backend features
- Ensure smooth platform performance and scalability
- Debug and resolve issues in an existing codebase
- Collaborate with the team and participate in client calls (1-2 times per week, between 19:00-21:00 Ukraine time)
Requirements
- Strong experience with Laravel (3+ years)
- Ability to work with and improve existing/legacy code
- Proficiency in PHP and understanding of best practices in modern backend development
- Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, or others)
- Experience with Redis for caching (nice to have)
- Experience working with NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
