Requirements:
— 3+ years of experience in System Administration and DevOps.
— 1 year of production experience with Kubernetes.
— Experience using Docker.
— Experience of configuration management with Ansible.
— Experience with GitLab CI, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, or equivalents.
— Good spoken/written English

— Scripting with Bash, Python, Go, Ruby or similar.
— Experience with monitoring and metrics.

— Maintain Kubernetes, Networking and our CI/CD pipelines.
— Design & implement a deployment strategy using mainstream cloud services provides including networking, security, data storage and transfer, automation and monitoring aspects.
— Support development teams with implementation of cloud-ready applications.
— Improve the automated infrastructure provisioning.
— Improve the transparency, logging and alerts handling.
— Improve disaster recovery and rollback strategies.
— Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
— Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.

The project:
The company is building the next generation of digital furniture showrooms. They aspire to manage the world’s largest product catalogue in the home&living category to allow furniture shoppers to easily find, research and compare products from a large base of eCommerce retailers. Over 3.5 million products in 700 categories from over 800 suppliers (e.g. IKEA, Otto, Home24, Roller, Baur, XXXL).

Tech stack: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Java 7/8, PHP, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL & NoSQL, JavaScript, Vue.JS

Current team setup: Currently Kiev team has a team of 7 people: 2 Java Developers, Senior Frontend Developer, DevOps Engineer, 2 UX Designers, QA. The strong sides of the team are good communication, support and fun environment.
