Objective of the role:

8allocate is an international software development company providing dedicated development teams and technology consulting services for clients worldwide.

We are currently looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a long-term product-focused project in the insurance domain.

The project is focused on developing machine learning solutions that help insurance companies better understand customer behavior, predict business outcomes, improve customer retention, and support data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Cooperation: Long-term.
Position: New.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning / Data Science
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with ML models from development to production
• Knowledge of regression, classification, clustering, and forecasting
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and English proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Build, train, evaluate, and monitor machine learning models
• Work on churn prediction, forecasting, segmentation, classification, and regression tasks
• Analyze data and transform business needs into data-driven solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, clients, and stakeholders
• Present insights, findings, and recommendations in English

Nice to have:

• MSc or PhD
• Experience in Insurance or FinTech
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
