Project:
We’re looking for a hands-on engineer with strong backend fundamentals and practical experience building AI-powered systems for a fast-growing AI startup developing a platform that integrates AI employees into everyday business operations. The platform enables AI agents to communicate through tools like Slack, email, WhatsApp, and voice, while integrating with business systems and workflows. Built with a no-code approach for non-technical users, the product already has a working MVP and active paying customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Python, APIs, asynchronous services, and modern AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.

Cooperation: Long-term engagement, full-time
Stage: New project. MVP is ready; currently scaling to production ahead of a fundraising round
Position: New role.
Timezone: European timezone required; overlap with Israel working hours (UTC+3) expected
Location: Remote.
English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Responsibilities:

• Build and improve AI agent workflows and backend services
• Develop LLM orchestration and tool integrations
• Implement RAG pipelines and structured LLM outputs
• Develop scalable APIs and async services
• Debug agent behavior and improve system reliability
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, and production troubleshooting
• Collaborate with the team to rapidly deliver AI features

Requirements:

• Strong Python backend development experience
• Experience with APIs and asynchronous programming
• Practical experience with LLM systems and AI agent frameworks
• Experience with RAG pipelines and tool calling
• Understanding of structured outputs and prompt engineering
• Experience debugging production systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
