We’re looking for a Senior or Middle-to-Senior Support Engineer to join one of the multiple teams of SIXT Tech.
In this role you will be supporting operations of financial systems for our 100-year-old international group. As significant part of software development team you will work closely with internal business departments, handle their requests, identify problems and find solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Identify abnormalities in the payment processing, invoicing and accounting reporting flows doing analysis of automated alerts and monitoring metrics (e.g. Camunda processes, logs in Kibana and Loggly)
• Create incident reports
• Perform a root-cause analysis and coordinate IT & business teams to fix problems and initiate solution improvements
• Use the existing support tools for system configuration and problem fixing
• Suggest/specify improvements of support tools, monitoring/alerting tools and operational processes
Essential requirements:
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in payments / banking
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience supporting enterprise solution in a product company
• Experience with databases and basic knowledge of SQL
• Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira)
• Curiosity to learn new technologies
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Nice to have’s:
• Basic knowledge of international accounting/finance/payments
• Basic knowledge of Camunda BPM tools
• Basic experience in quality assurance (manual E2E testing)
