Senior Data Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team!

Type of employment: Project Work (Full time for 2-3 months)

About the project:

Responsibilities:

Data Sources:

• 3 data sources to migrate: 2 Oracle (on-premise) and 1 Azure SQL.
• Migration will be conducted using a Change Data Capture (CDC) process.

Migration Process:

Oracle to Snowflake:

• Use Oracle’s redo logs and binary logs to define Data Migration Service (DMS).
• Transfer data from Oracle to Amazon S3.
• Create tasks to push data from S3 into Snowflake.

Azure SQL Server:

• Build a similar migration process as Oracle.

Requirements:

• Experience with Snowflake (streams, tasks).
• Proficiency in DMS and migrations using Terraform.
• Familiarity with data-type migrations between databases.
• Strong knowledge of database security, backup, recovery, and data integrity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
