We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to expand and improve on our gameplay mechanics such as weapons, vehicles, player locomotion, etc.
● Good command of one or more existing game engines— UE4, Unity, CryEngine, etc.
● Ability to quickly and sufficiently document and communicate an idea in writing or speech.
● Ability to carry an idea from the conceptual phase to the finished illustration and an understanding of translating these ideas to real-time game content.
● Technical understanding of the way the existing gameplay mechanics work and interact with each other.
● Self-criticism and ability to accept criticism from other people. Open mindedness towards colleagues’ ideas. The more feedback you are ready to take, the better for the game.
● Fluent English (or/and Russian).
● Collaborative Team player.
● Ability to learn and master new instruments.
● At least 5 years of gaming experience.
● Create and integrate gameplay mechanics.
● Prototype and iterate on gameplay system improvements.
● Implement mechanics/features directly in-engine using existing visual scripting tools.
● Cooperate with other departments on implementation where necessary.
● Create design and technical documentation on gameplay mechanics.
● Integrate new gameplay mechanics into existing schemes while retaining full functionality.
● Use in-house technology (4A Games Engine) for game creation.
● Participate in toolkit improvement process while working on the game.
