The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our engineering team and help shape the future of our Next.js-based web application. You’ll work with modern technologies while contributing to a platform that has real impact in the esports industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Modern Frontend Development: Build and maintain features using Next.js 15, React 19, and TypeScript in a production environment
• API Integration: Work with both GraphQL (Apollo Client) and REST APIs
• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance across our Vercel-deployed CDN infrastructure
• UI/UX Implementation: Create responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces using Tailwind CSS with custom design system
• Data Management: Implement efficient data fetching strategies for matches, tournaments, search functionality, and user interactions
• Internationalization: Maintain and expand multi-language support (English/Portuguese) for global markets
• Legacy System Migration: Help modernize legacy REST endpoints to GraphQL while maintaining backward compatibility
• Code Quality: Write maintainable, testable code following best practices and contribute to code reviews
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Production experience with Next.js (preferably v13+ with App Router)
• Strong experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client
• Proven track record working with REST APIs and API versioning strategies
• Advanced skills in Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks
• Experience with modern build tools, bundlers, and deployment pipelines
• Understanding of web performance optimization and CDN best practices
• Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) implementation
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in gaming, esports, or sports technology industry
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application deployments
• Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries for sports/gaming statistics
• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events)
• Knowledge of SEO optimization for content-heavy platforms
• Experience with A/B testing and analytics implementation

• Frontend: Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Data Layer: GraphQL with Apollo Client, REST APIs (Axios)
• Infrastructure: Vercel CDN, AWS EKS, PostgreSQL, Neo4j
