Hey everyone! We’re thrilled to announce that we’re developing a modern and dynamic news website dedicated to bringing you the latest updates about Kyiv. This project leverages a headless WordPress content management system (CMS) along with React and Next.js for the frontend. This combination ensures seamless content management and delivers a highly interactive and responsive user experience.

What you’ll be working on

• Configure WPGraphQL to enable data access from WordPress via API
• Create and configure a React project to work seamlessly with the GraphQL API
• Develop components to display WordPress data, such as news lists, individual news articles, comments, etc.
• Create logic to fetch data from the WordPress API and display it within React components
• Set up routing in the React application to match the URL structure of the WordPress site
• Implement logic to correctly display content by redirecting image links
• Configure user authentication for access to the admin panel and other protected areas of the site
• Test the solution across various devices and browsers to ensure proper functionality, debug and optimize performance issues as they arise

About you — preferred requirements for this role

• 4+ years of commercial experience with React.js
• Experience with NextJS
• Experience with Headless WordPress and WPGraphQL
• Experience with GraphQL API
