QA Automation (middle) Kyivstar TV (вакансія неактивна)

A joint project of the two leaders in the telecommunications industry 1+1 media and Kyivstar is currently looking for a Middle QA Automation who wants to become part of our team.

Kyivstar TV tv.kyivstar.ua/ua/about is a joint project of 1+1 media group and Kyivstar, founded on December 11, 2019. It is an online television platform that provides users with access to hundreds of thousands of hours of Ukrainian and foreign content, live broadcasts of programs, and regularly offers exclusive pre-premiere shows of projects. Its advantage is that users can watch content on five different devices at once — smartphones, tablets, laptops, Smart TV, or TV tuners. As of early April 2021, the platform had 262 TV channels and a VOD library with 10,000 movies and series of a total duration of more than 50,000 hours.

Requirements:
— 2+ years of professional experience as QA Engineer;
— 2+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of Web, mobile and REST API automated testing;
— Strong expertise and practical experience with UI & API testing frameworks and tools like Playwright, Appium;
— Strong understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture;
— Experience with Emulators on Android/IOS;
— Experience with continuous integration processes and tools, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar);
— Experience with application logs (Kibana, etc.);
— Knowledge of SQL and no-SQL DBs (mongo, pg, redis etc.);
— Ability to distribute tests across different layers of the system according to Testing Pyramid or Testing trophy approach;
— Deep understanding of core testing processes, experience in test planning and estimating.

Will be a plus:
— Understanding performance testing principles and automation (K6 or similar).

Responsibilities:
— You’ll be responsible for manual and automation testing (30/70);
— Code reviews;
— Writing auto-tests and increasing the coverage of web, mobile + API automated tests;
— Determining the priority of tests for automation;
— Analysis of automated test results, promptly identifying and reporting deviations or issues;
— Support CI/CD pipeline to enable efficient and reliable software delivery in GitHub Actions;
— Develop, maintain and expand automated testing infrastructure;
— Share knowledge and expertise with team members to promote a culture of continuous learning;
— Collaborate with the development and stakeholders to ensure consistent testing execution.

— Language: TypeScript;
— Framework: Playwright, Appium, WebdriverIO;
— CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD Pipelines;
— Jira + allure testops.
