Senior Data Engineer

Requirements:

— Strong knowledge of data structures and formats (e.g., JSON, XML, SQL, CSV) and experience working with customer, account, and transaction data.
— Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and data integration platforms.
— Ability to develop and maintain detailed data mappings between source systems and compliance systems.
Attention to Detail: Precise attention to ensure mappings are accurate and reliable to meet compliance standards.
— Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in the financial industry (e.g., AML, KYC), and ability to analyze functional requirements.
— Work closely with compliance and legal teams to interpret and translate requirements into technical solutions.
— Familiarity with job scheduling systems such as Airflow, Control-M, or equivalent in the data management domain.
— Capacity to monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune scheduled processes in a data pipeline.
— Strong knowledge of legacy ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) and migration strategies to modern platforms like DP CSA or cloud-based solutions.
— Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and best practices in migrating legacy systems.
— Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and platforms for building reliable and accurate compliance reports.
— Knowledge of internal and industry IT standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) to ensure IT products meet compliance benchmarks.
— Ability to conduct quality checks and audits to verify that products follow the Book of Standards.
— Contribute to ongoing process improvements and alignment of IT products with established standards

Responsibilities:
— Data mappings (new or existing ones) are developed and maintained for all customer, account, transaction information from source data to Compliance systems.
— Analyze functional compliance requirements, gather and prepare data in order to build upon performant and reliable IT solutions.
— Optimization of job scheduling system in the data management area.
— Migration of ETL legacy tools and data flows towards DP CSA.
— Regulatory requirements for Compliance reporting including non-functional requirements.
— IT Products are following Book of Standards requirements.
— Product documentation is up-to-date.
