Java Software Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

SoftServe is looking for an experienced Intermediate Java Engineer to join our professional team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, architect, develop, test, release and maintain various server components for state of the art enterprise mobile platforms;
• Build unit tests to ensure high quality of features developed;
• Work with the Product Management team to understand, clarify, and shape requirements, and to translate these into technical designs for the product.

Education:
• Bachelor degree of Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years web application programming experience;
• Experience in building platform server components which were high volume, high scalability, high performance, and high quality;
• Experience in Hibernate, JDBC, database schema design, strong fundamentals of relational database and SQL;
• Experience in Maven, Ant, perforce, Hudson and Jenkin;
• Experience in SOAP/Restful APIs using XML and JSON;
• Experience in GWT and Javascript(desired);
• Familiarity and experience with Agile (scrum) development process.

Specialized knowledge:
• Expert in Java programming language;
• Excellent at writing high-quality, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code;
• Expert at debugging code using debuggers and other tools;
• Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong familiarity with Groovy and Grails development(desired);
• Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of networking, operating systems, and security(desired).
