THE OPPORTUNITY
Our customer is a player on the market of sponsored data and wants to create Unified Portal in a fully automated and highly scalable fashion for cooperation of app developers, advertisers and marketers on the one hand with mobile operators on the other hand.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a QA Engineer, your main responsibility is to ensure continuous product and process quality for mobile/web applications. On a day to day work would imply:
— Being responsible for product quality as a part of the QA team
— Driving exploratory testing, authoring test plans and test cases for the product
— Product requirements analysis and processing
— Gathering QA/test metrics and reporting to QA Leads and the client
— Being a part of an agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate efforts
— Working together with project manager and senior QA team members on process improvements

THE PERSON
Qualifications & Experience
— 2+ years working experience in software quality assurance
— Experience in testing complex web/mobile/embedded/desktop applications
— Experience creating test documentation (test plans, test cases, release notes) and working with requirements
— Understanding of the way Web works — HTTP, AJAX, JSON and of the client-server architecture
— Knowledge of SQL on a basic level and experience working with Linux console/OS X terminal
— Understanding of CI and code version control concepts
— Upper intermediate level English or above is obligatory
— Understanding of agile delivery methodology application in practice
— Experience in grey box testing using databases, backend apps and APIs is a plus
— Knowledge of any programming language would be an advantage
— Experience doing performance and/or automated testing is a big plus
— Computer science degree or similar is a plus
